Buffalo City TVET College
Buffalo City TVET College was set up in 2002, because of the consolidation of three universities arranged in the Greater East London territory for example East London College and its St Marks Campus, Border Technical College and John Knox Bokwe Careers
College in Mdantsane.
Not long after the consolidation, the Council shut the Border Technical College premises and retained its Business Studies programs into East London Campus and its Engineering Division into St Marks Campus. John Knox Bokwe Campus kept on offering both Business and Engineering Studies Report 191 projects. By then the College had a normal full-time same (FTE) of somewhere in the range of 4500 and 5200 understudies.

How to Apply
Buffalo City TVET College Required the following;
- Copy Certified of latest school report / statement of result / Grade 9 or higher / GET Certificate / ABET Level 4 Certificate / N1 / A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the requirements for access
- 3 certified copies of ID of Learner
- 3 certified copies of ID of Parent/Legal Guardian
- One ID size photo
Before registering as a student, you will have to establish whether or not you will have funds to finance your studies. In addition to the actual course/module fees, please keep in mind that you have to make provision for books, equipment if applicable to your programme, transport, accommodation and general living expenses.
Please consider the safety of our cashiers and make direct bank payment instead of cash payments at the campus. Use the student number as reference.
Buffalo City College offers financial assistance to full-time students in the form of bursaries in collaboration with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) for financially challenged students
