Vuselela TVET College is one of three TVET Colleges in the North West Province, formed through a merger process in 2002. Four former technical colleges, now Vuselela campuses, were merged in accordance with the principles that underpinned TVET sector transformation. Vuselela University now has five campuses: Jouberton, Klerksdorp, Matlosana, Potchefstroom, and Taung.
Matlosana Campus was previously a training facility for the Goldmine DRD in the Stilfontein area, rather than a technical college.It has, however, been relocated to Plot 20, on the road from Klerksdorp to Orkney.
It has evolved into an Engineering Practical Centre, with a particular emphasis on mining-related engineering programs and learnerships.
The College has a Corporate Center in the CBD of Klerksdorp. The location of the Corporate Center in Klerksdorp has proved to be a strategic location in close proximity to the majority of campuses, except for Taung.
